Dotcal is a call booking service. It offers the user a set of personalized templates for booking meetings.

Ambitious, creative, goal-oriented people aged 25–40 who strive to optimize their schedule, save time, and also make a good impression on their clients/partners/employers. They want to use modern digital products, look stylish and organized.
Our task was to develop branding and a promo website for the template platform. The promo website consists of a home page, Pricing, and Contact Us.

Challenge
Most scheduling tools do not invest heavily in personalization, resulting in a one-size-fits-all solution that fails to meet the specific needs of diverse user groups.
We addressed this by allowing extensive customization options, ensuring that each user could tailor their DotCal experience to suit their exact needs, whether they were individuals or part of a team.
Another challenge was the user onboarding process. Unlike other platforms that provide a generic experience, we needed to create a personalized and engaging onboarding process that would not only educate users about DotCal’s unique features but also integrate seamlessly into their existing workflows.
Determining the right pricing model was a challenge, especially in a market with both free and premium tools. DotCal needed to balance providing value in its free tier while ensuring that the premium features were compelling enough to drive conversions and sustain revenue growth.

Visual brand assets

The core advantage of DotCal is how customizable and friendly it is. We used bright colors, a combination of modern fonts, and a calming palette, to embrace the customer and speak of the product's advantages non-verbally, building true consistency in brand's communication.

UX/UI

The "scheduling tools" space is highly competitive, dominated by a few major players that any new platform like DotCal must strive to surpass.

Go-to market strategy's impact on UX/UI

We decided to focus on a niche market segment that struggles with overly complex scheduling tools (small businesses and freelancers), and designed DotCal to capitalize on the major shortcomings of larger platforms in serving these users effectively.

The first accessible analytics for regular users within digital calendars space

We developed a custom dashboard for DotCal, allowing users to monitor scheduling patterns and easily perform tests.

We designed the system to be intuitive and streamlined, minimizing distractions while providing a clear and effective onboarding process for new users, ensuring their success with the platform.

A personality before everything

Adding a pinch of personalization to the corporate meetings space. In the scape of mostly nameless and faceless booking, we tried to reduce stress and friction by reminding the user of the human being on the other side as much as possible

We designed the DotCal website to be a seamless extension of the user experience, focusing on intuitive navigation, clean design, and responsive functionality.

Whether users are accessing it from a desktop or a mobile device, the site ensures they can easily explore features, customize their scheduling tools, and get the most out of DotCal.

Through our research, we noticed that DotCal users enjoy experimenting with different designs, so we created multiple dashboard design options to give them more flexibility and personalization.
